Huge thank you to @Jayyanginspires & @brookeleblanc for coming in today to share with the Founders School students 🙏 Another banger of a mentor session.
@Jayyanginspires spoke at Founders today. Takeaways from his mentor session: 1. People saying yes too easily means you are not charging enough. Yang raised his prices from $300 a month to $4,000 a month as people kept saying yes. 2. When doing cold outreach, try to find the "guy's guy". This is the assistant of the big person who can potentially lead you to the main guy. 3. A good way to validate an idea is to get 3 paying customers in 48 hours. 4. Giving an offer speed, low risk, and ease can reduce the friction for somebody to say yes. 5. Competitors doing well in a business space can be validation sign for an idea. 6. Failure is when you stop pursuing something you want. You learn when you lose and when you win. 7. Do the work on the front end before reaching out to someone. This will help you get a much better result from your outreach. 8. @brookeleblanc talked about going from 500 to 16,000 followers on LinkedIn by using what worked on X and putting on LinkedIn.

“You’re absolutely right!” Does not happen with Founders School’s AI. See one of our students going toe-to-toe with it 👇
First Fed hike in over 3 years comes at an interesting time for AI. Companies like CoreWeave, Lambda and Crusoe are spending billions building out compute and data centers. Higher rates = more expensive capital right as the AI infrastructure race is getting insanely capital intensive. Big Tech can fund this stuff from cash flow. The neoclouds have a much more interesting problem.
