14.3.7 update. Two things. 1. Phantom wipes are GREATLY reduced somehow vs .6. In fact I don’t think I’ve had one yet? Will pay close attention but in .6 I got one almost right off the bat every time. 2. Speed control issue demonstrated. In this video. This is a 30mph road and even sloth does 45mph. 😬

A neighbor down the road drove with me to the auction yesterday. He was the owner of the steer we delivered. Retired. 60 years old. Big believer in conservation / climate change (his job was something related). Drives a sensible Prius. Has a 26 year old rusted truck he doesn’t trust to tow. So he rode with me in the Cybertruck. On the way there I drove since FSD disabled right away (due to weight of the steer). On the way home I used FSD the entire way. It freed me up to walk him through the nav and energy menus. I taught him about EV math. We converted my Cybertruck battery to the approx 4 gallon gas tank that it is. I had Grok convert our current efficiency to mpgE and he gasped when she said 56mpg and said “that’s what my Prius gets”. And I politely reminded him that I was ONLY getting such horrible efficiency because I was towing and that I average 100mpg normally. He has to drive to Maine soon. He spends time up in a house up there with his wife. He was really dreading it. He hates the drive. I told him I would relish the drive and love to have my truck drive me there. When we got back to his place he was telling his wife all about it. She was non-plussed. He asked me about Rivians and I said the R2 just came out for $60k. He didn’t know about that while admitting he was a Rivian investor. 🤣. I hadn’t yet seen the horrible range review from OOS but told him it would be a fine Model Y similar vehicle but warned it couldn’t use all the Tesla Superchargers and told him to go to the Tesla web site and see what was in his area in Maine (it sounded real remote).

It’s amusing watching normies experience v14 for the first time. It just works. Like. They’ll never know the pain and suffering we went through to get it to where it is today. You’re welcome normies. 🤣🤣

Incredible demonstration of how far FSD can see in the dark without high beams. Tonight the car started slowing from 40mph and it literally took me and my wife SEVERAL seconds to see why. By the time we figured it out we had already slowed to like 25mph. Simply incredible. We can do such a smooth stop I had to honk to get the deer to move. 🤣🤣

So today was fun - I needed to pull my tractor to the hay pile outside the gate at the farm - but my truck was parked inside the gate far away so normally I'd have to park the tractor and then walk all the way back to my truck. So now that I have Summon - from the tractor I used Summon in 'come to me' mode and as I was driving my tractor at 6mph to the road, through the gate - my Cybertruck followed me the whole way so that I didn't have to walk a quarter mile back into the farm after parking my tractor out by the hay pile. It. Was. Awesome. It followed behind me just like my loyal lil' cattle dog!

More truck stuff. Picked up hay 35mi away in Taneytown from a nice older couple with horses. They came out to see my truck. Their adult kids came out. Then their kids came out. Their friends came over. They couldn’t believe my truck could pull the hay. The old man asked me what it was “registered as”. I was not sure what he meant. He said “car or a truck!” Lmao. I explained it was indeed a truck with a 6ft bed and showed him an blew his mind that there were no wheel humps. They had JUST bought a new HD Silverado and spent more than $80k. When I told them I averaged close to 100mpgE this time of year when not towing and 50mpgE they were stunned. They asked all about how charging works and self driving. They were super open minded!
