Palantir is a company that does two things exceptionally well: saves lives and kills terrorists. They’re a bunch of neurodivergent patriots, and we’re lucky to have them. Helping hospitals and manufacturing facilities run more efficiently is genuinely miraculous work that prolongs and improves the lives of millions of Americans—and that’s before even considering the incredible work they do in defense and national security. The broader point is that these socialists—these Marxists—are proponents of “degrowth.” Unlike Republicans or Democrats in the mold of Mike Bloomberg, Hillary Clinton, or even Barack Obama, they do not want Americans to become richer if it also means the already successful become more successful. They do not want us to innovate and save more lives if doing so requires using more energy. They do not want American companies to grow if those companies strengthen America’s competitive edge economically, technologically, or, God forbid, militarily. They would rather see America’s footprint shrink than expand because they are fundamentally hostile to the American project. They tell us as much without reservation. That’s why it’s incumbent on Americans who are not hostile to America itself—Republicans, independents, and mainstream Democrats alike—to make an affirmative case for our country, its growth, and its success.
