If the claim in this article that Dylan and Dwarkesh aren't related is true, then explain this:

China Exports of Raw Tungsten are increasing and ASPs are dropping:
There's something emotional about seeing a passion reach this sort of milestone. The work isn't done and there’s plenty more to do, but it's nice to have moments of reflection and recognition along the way. Onward to 100k!

A little under 2 years ago, we joined X with a simple goal: share what we were learning with the semiconductor community on @X, and hopefully add something useful to the conversation. Today, we crossed 10,000 followers. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who read, shared, challenged, supported, and helped us get here. Thank you all❤️ — onward.

One of the most useful frameworks in semiconductor research is to think in derivatives. The first derivative is often recognized early. For example, the insatiable demand for more AI accelerators has been well established. And therefore, the market has since moved down the stack, identifying many of the enabling technologies required to support accelerator growth, including memory, networking, power, and advanced packaging. The more interesting opportunities often emerge one level deeper; at the third derivative layer. (1/7)🧵

Another disclosed order today for Ardentec, from Accretech, for ~$18M. Probers inbound.
Ardentec — the wafer sort and test focused OSAT — disclosed another Advantest PO today of ~$19M. That takes YTD '26 equipment orders to ~$300M, nearly 4x full-year 2025.
The trend continues. Korean HBM exports to Malaysia in August at ~$1.6B, up +467% YoY. Versus +32% YoY to Taiwan. $INTC #EMIB# $TSM #CoWoS#
